Dr Izabela Cichocka
A graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the Agricultural University of Krakow, branch in Rzeszów, and participant in an academic exchange at Purdue University (USA). She earned her Ph.D. at the Cracow University of Economics, focusing on modeling consumer behavior in the organic food market. Her research was funded by the Polish Scientific Research Committee.
She has been affiliated with the University of Information Technology and Management since 2000, serving as an academic lecturer, curriculum author, and supervisor of nearly 300 management theses. Her scholarly output includes academic articles, monograph chapters, and participation in national and international conferences and Erasmus+ teaching exchanges.
She previously held roles such as Secretary and Deputy Head of the Department of Quantitative Methods in Economics and served on the Educational Quality Committee for English‑language programs. She currently serves as Vice Dean for Management (Studies in English) and Vice Dean for Applied Information Technology (Studies in English). She is the statistical editor of Financial Internet Quarterly (indexed in Web of Science – ESCI) and an expert in teaching‑process organization within the SUNRISE European university alliance.
