Prof. Hania Krück Bialas

Hania Krück Bialas is the Regional Director, manager, and attorney leading the Intellectual Property practice at Tactic Legal. With more than 16 years of experience in national and international IP matters, she specializes in Law & Digital Business, a distinction earned from the University of Salamanca in Spain. Her work focuses on advising clients on the strategic use, protection, and enforcement of intangible assets in Guatemala and abroad. She also oversees the development of contractual frameworks for intangible asset transactions and manages national and international intellectual property portfolios.

Hania is an active speaker, university lecturer, and jury member on a wide range of intellectual property topics, collaborating with academic institutions, commercial entities, and nonprofit organizations both locally and internationally. She also represents the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) as a speaker, lecturer, coach, and advisor.

Deeply engaged in the Orange Economy sector, Hania serves a second term on the Board of Directors of the Orange Economy Committee of AGEXPORT, one of Guatemala’s most prominent private export agencies.

She has been invited to participate as a private‑sector representative in technical working groups responsible for drafting legislative initiatives, including the Law for the Film Industry, the Law for the Promotion of Intellectual Property, and the Law for the Protection of the Collective Intellectual Property of the Textiles and Dress of Indigenous Peoples.

Her professional excellence has earned her international recognition from the prestigious legal rankings LEGAL500 and Chambers and Partners.
